AI Challenge at AOCR2024: Deciphering Acute Appendicitis with AI

In the era of AI-driven medical diagnostics, the AOCR2024 proudly presents the AI challenge. This platform invites teams from around the world to develop and demonstrate their expertise in identifying acute appendicitis using AI. The challenge aims to acknowledge the excellence of radiological AI and bridge the gap between theoretical AI achievements and real-world medical diagnostics.

Team Composition

Every participating team needs to include at least one radiologist as a member.

This competition focuses on identifying acute appendicitis from CT scans of acute abdomen cases. Participants will engage in a classification task, distinguishing the presence or absence of acute appendicitis using contrast-enhanced CT scans.
